 Cricket Star Fahimuddin to represent the Indian Cricket team for the deaf on tour of Sri Lanka


We feel proud to share that our employee, Mr. Fahimuddin, who is hearing and speech impaired, has been called on to represent the Indian Cricket team for the Deaf for their tour of Sri Lanka from June 5 to 14. Fahim, as popularly referred to by friends and peers will be part of an 18 member team which is due to play three 50-over matches and three Twenty20 fixtures at the Galle International Stadium.


Fahim has been a cricket enthusiast for much his life, and along with four other members of the team are mentored by the Sports Authority of India coach M.P. Singh.


Additionally, as recently, as last month, he won the 2nd National T20 Cricket Championship held at the Gymkhana Ground, Secundrabad. The tournament was organized by the All India Sports Council of the Deaf in association with the Delhi Association of the Deaf and received participants from a lot of teams from different corners of the country.

Mr. Fahimuddin has been working with the firm for almost 3 years now and has been part of the firm’s cricket team in corporate cricket matches. He has also been a part of the previous edition of National T20 Cricket Championship, as well as the inaugural edition of the Deaf Cricket World Cup.
