Dynamic Trademark Utility Tool Launched by the Registry
On the lines of Dynamic Patent Utility tool, the Indian Intellectual Property Office (IPO) has on November 01, 2013 launched the Dynamic Trademark Utility.
The said tool is aimed at enabling the public (trademark holders, agents, attorney, stakeholders etc.) to see on real time basis the following details with respect to trademark applications:-
- Examination of Trademark Applications
- Show- Cause Hearings
- Publications in Trademark Journals
- Registration of Trademarks
- Otherwise Disposal of Trademark Applications
- Notices Issued
Through this tool public can generate a report displaying the number of applications examined, number of show- cause hearings issued, number of trademarks published in the Journal, number of trademarks registered, number of trademark applications disposed or number of notices issued by simply selecting the desired detail and feeding the relevant month and year for the same.
