The Controller General of Patents, Designs and Trademarks (CGPDTM) has through a public notice issued on December 23, 2013 notified that the Document Receiving Counters situated in front of Trademark Registry premises will now be equipped with Computer Monitors, thereby facilitating scrutinization and verification with respect to the data entered in the electronic system at the receiving counters.

The CGPDTM has further requested the Applicants/ Agents to properly verify each and every detail entered in the electronic system at the Receiving Counters and that complaints regarding entry of wrong details will not be entertained normally by the Trademark and Patents Office.
