Vikrant Rana, Managing Partner, S.S. Rana & Co. was on the expert panel. Mr Rana shared his insight on the intellectual property regime in India in comparison with that of Japan. He stressed on explaining the best practices in IP prosecution in India while also sharing the statistics related to IP filings in India.
During the presentation, he also discussed about PPH (patent prosecution highway) between India and Japan.
Finally, he concluded by elucidating on the growing importance of IP rights for Start Ups further elaborating that IPR is not as a matter of compliance but also a matter of asset creation.
