Job description:

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Learning and Development Specialist to join our Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating learning programs and initiatives across the organization to enhance employee development and performance.

  1.  Develop comprehensive learning strategies and programs that align with organizational goals and objectives.
  2. Conduct needs assessments and identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed.
  3. Design and deliver engaging learning materials, resources, and courses using various modalities.
  4. Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
  5. Collaborate with senior leadership to align learning and development initiatives with strategic business objectives.
  6.  Provide coaching and guidance to managers and employees on learning opportunities and career development paths.
  7. Facilitate succession planning and career pathing initiatives to support employee growth and retention.
  8. Manage the learning management system (LMS) to ensure content is up-to-date and accessible to employees.
  9. Analyze training needs on a departmental and organizational level to inform strategic learning plans.
  10.  Develop metrics and KPIs to measure the impact and effectiveness of learning programs on employee performance and organizational goals.
  11. Lead cross-functional project teams to address specific learning needs or organizational challenges.
  12. Stay informed about emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in learning and development to continuously improve programs.
  13. Collaborate with external training vendors and consultants as needed to supplement internal capabilities.
