The Department of Studies in Law, University of Mysore organized an International Webinar on “The Role of Intellectual Property Rights in the Circular Economy” on June 7, 2025, bringing together eminent experts from India and abroad to explore the intersection of intellectual property and sustainability.
We are pleased to share that Mr. Vikrant Rana, Managing Partner at S.S. Rana & Co., was invited as the Guest of Honour at the event where he addressed the participants on the pivotal role of IPRs in enabling green innovation, promoting sustainable practices, and advancing the circular economy agenda globally. He emphasized how strong IP frameworks can incentivize clean technologies, protect eco-brands, facilitate green technology transfer, and support circular design systems critical to sustainable development.
