The German Engineering Federation (VDMA India) organized 12th #MechanicalEngineering Summit on October 13, 2023 in Bengaluru. The Summit, a one-day brought together participants from 24 states of India from German mechanical industries and invited SSRANA & Co., as its Legal Partner.
The session started with a Captivating Welcome address by Rajesh Nath, Managing Director, VDMA India followed by a Special Address on ‘Karnataka: The Industrial Hub of India” by Chief Guest Mr. MB Patil –#Industry and Commerce Minister #GovernmentofKarnataka.
The Guest of Honour – Achim Burkart, Consul General, Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany, Bangalore, also delivered an Address on “Indo-German Relations: Prospective Business Synergies & Government Support” and hear the perspective on #IndianEngineering Industry and the importance of #governmentsupport in fostering #innovation. His speech was a welcome about strong ties between India and Germany.
VDMA India along with the following members released the book “The Landscape in India – Risks, Regulations and Results” written by SSRANA & Co.

During the book release, our Managing Partner, Vikrant Rana, elucidates that the Book is a compendium of IPR laws and protection strategies in India with a special focus on issues of counterfeiting and Brand enforcement. The Book provides insight to brand owners on the #IntellectualProperty Landscape in India, the impact of #Counterfeiting on different Stakeholders, anti-counterfeiting laws and remedies, laws applicable on #Counterfeiting, penalties and remedies along with cases and remedial measures in cases of #infringementofIPR.
