Mr. Rana participated in a highly engaging panel discussion on the topic “Regulatory Compliance & Quality Standards in India’s Aftermarket: Anti-Counterfeiting, Building Trust and Consumer Rights.” During the session, he shared his perspectives on the intellectual property landscape and consumer protection framework in India, with particular emphasis on the automotive aftermarket sector. He highlighted the key risk areas associated with counterfeiting, the legal and commercial implications for manufacturers and distributors, and the importance of robust enforcement and compliance mechanisms in building long-term consumer trust.
Mr. Rana also provided valuable insights into the evolving Right to Repair framework in India, placing it in a broader global context by drawing parallels with similar legislative developments in other jurisdictions.
