We are delighted to share that Mr. Vikrant Rana, Managing Partner, Mr. Pranit Biswas, Managing Associate and Mr. Bhanu Dhingra, Senior Associate Advocate at S.S. Rana & Co., on April 8, 2025, took a class on the topic of “Customs and Border Measures”, as part of the skill-based course titled “Intellectual Property Transactions: Negotiating and Drafting Agreements” within the WIPO-NLUD-IPO Joint Masters/LL.M. in IP Law and Management Programme at the National Law University, Delhi.
This session shed light on critical aspects of the Customs Seizures process in India, including the practical problems faced by both stakeholders in this context, i.e. the Brand Owners as well as the Customs Officers. The session also saw an interactive Q&A session, with students being especially curious about the nitty-gritties of the customs enforcement procedure.
