The German Engineering Federation (VDMA India) organized 13th Mechanical Engineering Summit on October 18, 2024 in Pune. S.S. Rana & Co., was honored to have served as Legal Partner for the Summit, which highlighted importance of international collaboration and innovation with VDMA India.
The summit commenced with an inspiring welcome address by Mr. Rajesh Nath, Managing Director of VDMA India and was followed by a special address on Indo-German relations by Mr. Achim Fabig, on significance of “Indo-Germa Relations: Prospective Business Synergies and Government Support.”
Throughout the day, participants engaged in a series of technical sessions that explored vital topics such as the integration of Artificial Intelligence and sustainability into modern manufacturing practices.
We are particularly proud to announce the release of our book, “Demystifying Legal Metrology Laws,” authored by S.S. Rana & Co. The book was launched with the industry leaders, including: Mr. Harsha Kadam, CEO & Managing Director, Schaeffler India Limited, Mr. Gaurav Bawa, Senior Vice President, WIKA India, Mr. V. G. During the book release, our Senior Associate, Apalka Bareja, elaborated on how the publication serves as a comprehensive guide to the intricacies of packaging law. It addresses essential aspects such as core principles of legal metrology, packaging regulations, industry-specific standards, best practices, and relevant case studies, providing valuable knowledge for stakeholders across the sector.
Additionally, our team was represented by Ms. Pooja Thakur, Associate Partner, who found the experience of networking and engaging in rich discussions throughout the summit to be incredibly rewarding.
