We are delighted to share that Mr. Vikrant Rana, Managing Partner, S.S. Rana & Co., was invited as a key speaker at the One-Day Awareness Programme on Intellectual Property Rights organized by the MSME Development & Facilitation Office, Karnal, Ministry of MSME, Government of India.
During his session on “IPR & Various Components – The Role of Trademarks and Industrial Design in Industry,” Mr. Rana highlighted the critical role of IP in business growth, brand protection, and commercialization. The session emphasized how MSMEs and startups can strategize to protect their IP and leverage the same. He also illustrated how MSMEs have enhanced their IP profiles and benefitted from it.
Additionally, the MSME schemes illustrated by Ms. Meenu Dhiman, Asstt. Director, MSME DFO, Karnal was very helpful and enlightening, the demonstration of the Haryana Government’s schemes for new entrepreneurs by Sh. V.P. Singh Ahluwalia, Asstt. Director, District MSME Centre, Sonepat was very informative for the entrepreneurs of Haryana and the address by Advocate Dinesh Jotwani on Patents, and copyrights, captured the role of IP in the MSME industry.
