On 10 September 2026, Mr. Vikrant Rana, Managing Partner at S.S. Rana & Co. and Professor of Practice at Amity Law School, Noida, was invited to speak at the Workshop on “Capacity Building of Law Graduates: Expectations of Industry from Law Freshers”, organised by the Corporate Resource Centre, Amity Law School, Noida.
The workshop focused on understanding industry expectations from law freshers and the skills and capabilities that law graduates need to develop as they transition from legal education to professional practice.
The session brought together perspectives from the legal and corporate sectors, with Mr. Vikrant Rana, Managing Partner, S.S. Rana & Co. and Professor of Practice, Amity Law School, Noida; Mr. Surekh Kant Baxy, Associate Partner, Aeklom Legal; and Ms. Nandita Rathi, Legal Executive, SIDBI, sharing their insights with the students.
The interaction provided students with an opportunity to understand the practical expectations of the legal industry and the importance of developing strong professional, analytical and practical skills alongside academic knowledge.
