Vikrant Rana, Managing Partner at SSRANA & Co was invited as a speaker at the ‘Workshop on Creating Awareness on Intellectual Property’ at IIT, Patna, Bihta, Bihar organized by Confederation of Indian Industry in association with Indian Patent Office on March 3, 2020.
The workshop at IIT Patna aimed at creating awareness about intellectual property, and Vikrant spoke on the topic ‘Importance of Trademarks and Designs for Business Entities’. In his highly enriching session, Vikrant started with explaining the basics of Trademarks & Designs and highlighted the essential aspects of its protection along with the need of registration. Through various examples and instances, he further elucidated on how Trademarks & Designs rights can be commercially exploited for the benefit of business entities.
He ended the lecture by sharing his practical experience in the IP world with the young budding minds and highlighted how protection of IP should be the foremost agenda for any startup or business entity.
