Amardeep Kaur and Harshita Mall, Patent Research Analyst at SSRANA & Co. have successfully completed the WOS-C (Women Scientist Scheme) named KIRAN-IPR. They both were facilitated by Hon’ble Justice Pratibha M. Singh of the Delhi High Court.
The WOS-C (Women Scientist Scheme) Knowledge Involvement in Research Advancement through Nurturing (KIRAN-IPR) scheme, established under the aegis of the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Ministry of Science and Technology aims at mainstreaming women qualification in science and technology who have not been able to pursue their career due to domestic compulsions. The Scheme provides a one year on-the-job training in the area of intellectual property to all women students enrolled, with assistance from the Technology and Information, Forecasting and Assessment Council (TIFAC).
