Mr. Vikrant Rana, on February 19, 2021, enlightened the students on the thought-provoking topic of ‘Right To Privacy In The Digital Age’. In his session as a keynote speaker, Mr. Rana while emphasizing of the facet of an individual’s right to privacy, highlighted how in the digital environment use of personal information can be a ‘double’ edged sword. He also enunciated on the importance of enactment of the Personal Data Protection Bill, 2019 in India and presented as to how the passage of the Bill would protect personal data of an individual rendered vulnerable in this digital age, including the right to be forgotten of an individual.
