Webinar invitation at Inter University Centre for IPR Studies, CUSAT
It gives us immense pleasure to share that Vikrant Rana, Managing Partner at SSRANA & Co., was invited by the Inter-University Centre For Intellectual Property Rights Studies, CUSAT to speak on the occasion of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”, a webinar/awareness programme. The program was jointly organized by Cell for IPR Promotion and Management (CIPAM) & the DPIIT-IPR Chair of CUSAT.
Vikrant Rana during the webinar elucidated on the subject “Engineering Research and Plagiarism”, which is very relevant in this day and age, with #plagiarism being more rampant than ever before.
During the Webinar, Vikrant Rana covered some of the intrinsic aspects of research and plagiarism including #copyright and plagiarism, types of plagiarism, controversies on the issue of plagiarism, infringement and plagiarism, University Grants Commission #UGC (Promotion of Academic Integrity and Prevention of Plagiarism in Higher Education Institutions) Regulations, 2018, how to avoid plagiarism and importance of bilbliography.
