Day 5 of the symposium saw Mr. Bijit Das, Senior Associate at S.S. Rana & Co. speaking on the topic ‘Copyright in the Digital Economy’. In this highly enriching session, Mr. Das highlighted the basics of Copyright Law in India and its role and importance in this evolving digitized economy. Mr. Das in his session also addressed crucial questions pertaining to fair use and licensing under Copyright Law in India.
Overall the session provided a detailed and thorough insight into the Indian Copyright law and its substance in the digital economy.
