Taking another step in the direction of the digital change, Dhruv Mathur, Patent Agent, SS Rana & Co. conducted a webinar on ‘ Industrial Design- Importance, Identification and Registration process.’ The webinar was conducted in association with UILS, Panjab University, Chandigarh on May 12, 2020.
In the session, Dhruv highlighted the basics of Industrial designs, and the requirements to qualified as an industrial design in India. He also discussed the various do’s and don’ts before filing an application for designs in India, and explained the design search procedure together with examples of registered designs.
Overall the session provided a basic insight to the world of Industrial designs, and how it is one of the most simplest and a very successful form of IP.
