In a recent development, the Office of the Controller General of Patents, Designs and Trademarks (CGPDTM) has unveiled a set of new online miscellaneous forms intended to support stakeholders and the general public in making trademark-related submissions. This initiative aims to enhance the accessibility of the trademark registration process, ensuring that individuals and businesses can navigate the complexities of trademark submissions with greater ease.
- Reply to Notice u/s 19 (MISR19) – wherein Registrar may withdraw acceptance if it is determined that the application was erroneously approved or should not be registered
- Reply to Notice u/s 57 (MISR57) – pertaining to the Cancellation or Rectification of Trademarks
- Letter of Withdrawal for Opposition (MIS-OW)
- Letter of Withdrawal for Rectification (MIS-RW)
This initiative is expected to significantly improve operational efficiency within the trademark registration process by streamlining procedures.
