The Government of Colombia has issued a notification to the Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) increasing the individual fee for designating or subsequently designating Colombia while filing an international trademark application or expanding scope of protection of an international trademark application.
Further, the individual fee has also been increased for renewal of international trademark applications which have designated Colombia.
Provided below is a comparison of the existing fee schedule and the revised fee schedule

The revised fee will come into effect from January 02, 2024.
Accordingly, any new international trademark application designating Colombia or existing international application being subsequently designated in Columbia after January 02, 2024 will bear the fee as per the new fee schedule.
Similarly, international applications designating Colombia being renewed after January 02, 2024 will also bear the revised fee as per the new fee schedule.
In light of this new information, applicants who are holding off designating or subsequently designating Colombia in respect of their international trademark applications should consider to proceed with their applications in the next few weeks, since the fee in this regard is going to increase from January 02, 2024 onwards.
