- Launch of comprehensive e-filing payment gateway service
The new comprehensive payment gateway enables applicants/stakeholders to make payments using internet banking, credit cards or debit cards of more than 70 banks. It is expected that the given facility would further increase online filings of the patent applications or other related forms. With this launch, IPO became the first organization in the Government sector to enable internet banking, credit card and debit card payment facility simultaneously through its integrated payment gateway.
- Launch of ‘Stock and Flow’ facility for Patents
This launch has made IPO the first among Intellectual Property Offices across the world to achieve ultimate transparency in the work done. The facility fetches data in real-time and presents a snapshot of current pendency, processing and disposal of entire Patent Office at a glance. This facility already exists for Trademarks and now has been extended to Patents as well. [Stock and Flow]
