Introduction
The Office of the Controller General of Patents, Designs and Trademarks (CGPDTM) has issued a public notice on October 18, 2022, inviting all stakeholders to participate in the open platform to provide their grievances, feedback and suggestions to the officials of Intellectual Property Office. The stakeholders during the Open Conference are free to interact with officials of the IPO for the quick resolution of any issues faced by them during the processing of their applications.
The timing for Open Conference is 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM IST.
However, the sessions will not be available on the occasion of Diwali from October 21to 26 and shall resume back on October 27, 2022.

It is indeed a noteworthy initiative taken by the Office of the CGPDTM and it is expected that the same will lead to smooth processing and registration of IPR with the IPO.
