The UK Intellectual Property Office (UKIPO) has recently revised the structure of its Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) fees. The said changes have been published in the News Bulletin of the UKIPO on June 01, 2020[1].
The changes in the PCT fee structure as issued by UKIPO will be implemented and brought into effect from July 01, 2020 and are listed as below:

The UKPIO had last revised the PCT fee structure on May 01, 2020 and the only revision reflected herein pertains to the fee structure with respect to patent search fee.
PCT application
A patent application filed under the PCT or Patent Cooperation Treaty, which is a multilateral treaty and administered by the International Bureau (IB), of World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) , is called an international application, or PCT application. Patent Applicants seeking global protection for their inventions, can file one International Patent application under the PCT and get access to protecting their invention in the contracting member countries worldwide.
