- The Geographical Indications Registry received 613 GI applications for registration of GI up to March 31, 2017 out of which 320 Gls have been registered.
- 18 GI applications were examined and 25 Gls have been registered during the reporting year.
- The Registry expedited registration of authorised users and a total of 2699 authorised users were registered.
