About the WTR 1000
The WTR 1000: The World’s Leading Trademark Professionals is published annually by World Trademark Review (WTR). WTR’s analysts research each edition over a four-month period; the 2026 research involved more than 1,500 face-to-face and telephone interviews with trademark specialists around the world.

Lucy Rana read law at the University of Delhi, specialising in intellectual property law, and enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi in 2007.
