Design registration in Nigeria

1. Submission of application;
2. Issuance of acknowledgement letter;
3. Design search;
4. Examination;
5. Issuance of acceptance letter;
6. Issuance of certificate.

Required Documents:

1. Pictures of the design to be registered (graphic representations);
2. Power of attorney (simply signed);
3. Title of the design and product info;
4. Applicant data.

Time Frame:

The expected timeframe for a design to be registered is 2-4 months from the filing date, if there are no technical glitches.

Multiple Designs:

It is not possible to include multiple designs in a single application.
